Cardiac Stress Testing
A cardiac stress test ECG (electrocardiogram) may also be referred to as an EKG, exercise stress test, or treadmill test.
A cardiac stress test ECG is used to evaluate your general heart health and how your heart works during exercise. It may detect coronary artery disease, irregular heartbeats, or poor aerobic fitness. The test may be used for people with chest pain, abnormal heart rhythms, or those that are beginning an exercise program. We perform cardiac stress test ECG in our facility at Sweetwater Medical Associates.
